In May of 2008 I decided to start selling some stamps from my own collection, on eBay.
I soon realized that this was an interesting pastime, being retired, and maybe could even be turned into a serious business.
In February 2009 I decided to have my own on-line store and left eBay.
Although keeping my store I came back to eBay in May and put items on auction again.
With this experience I'll be able to give you and objective opinion about what to expect from an Internet stamp dealer.
If interested in finding out about hot trends and opinions on selling on the internet and eBay, I invite you to follow my new blog at http://stampdealing.blogspot.com/An honest blog about purchasing stamps on the internet.Hope to see you there!!
Yes Svend you are right. As of today Dec 14 My Philately is no more. Sad , disappointing , and to some who have invested their hard earned cash perhaps a ripoff. The end came with no warning , just a broken link and a message from Dan Brown that 20,000 page views was not enough. I just hope that we can as members gain access to the site to retrieve details of priceless contacts made during the last 4 years. Any thoughts from other MP members.
